Emily Rhodes

As long as I can remember I’ve been drawn to art. I love the colors and textures that come together to tell a story, share a moment, or evoke a feeling. I've also always been captivated by the ocean. Blue seas and warm breezes bring me a sense of fascination and peace. Being at the water's edge or out on the open sea is a feeling like no other. I love all that is nautical and my artwork reflects this passion.

I have lived in North Carolina my entire life, and when creating each piece I draw from my personal travels to the NC coast. From strolling the quaint streets of Beaufort, to cruising the vast Intracoastal waterway, or collecting shells on the shores of Ocracoke, the unique beauty of the southern coast provides me with endless inspiration. 

It is my hope that these pieces bring the same sense of wonder and joy to your space that I experienced in creating them.
