A Season of Renewal

Spring has always felt like a magical time. As a child, Easter meant brightly colored eggs tucked into the grass, baskets filled with candy, and a brand-new dress, usually something pastel and frilly, perfect for twirling. It was a day of laughter, family gatherings, and the joy of simple traditions. The warmth of the sun, the scent of fresh blooms, and the excitement of an Easter egg hunt made it feel like anything was possible.

But as I’ve grown, I’ve come to realize that Easter, and spring itself, carries a much deeper meaning. It’s a season of faith, renewal, and the promise of something greater.

After months of winter’s stillness, we start to notice the small but powerful signs of change...the first touches of green breaking through the earth, the days growing longer, the air feeling just a little warmer. These subtle shifts remind us that even after the coldest and darkest seasons, new life always returns.

For me, Easter is a time to reflect on my faith, to embrace the hope that comes with renewal, and to remember that we are never truly alone, even in life’s storms. That’s why Into the Storm, by Emily Rhodes, resonates so deeply with me. It’s a powerful reminder that no matter how fierce the waves, faith carries us forward. Just as spring follows winter, light follows darkness, and renewal is always on the horizon.

This season, I’m embracing the beauty of both the small joys and the deeper meanings, time with family, fresh blooms on the table, and a heart full of hope. Because spring isn’t just about what’s coming back to life around us, it’s about what’s being renewed within us.

Wishing you a season filled with faith, joy, and the promise of new beginnings.
